How does it work?

Rosacea is an exacerbated reaction of the blood vessels of the face as a result of external aggressions such as daily weather changes, cold, heat and also UV.

– UVB affects the superficial layers of the skin, causing reactions responsible forredness & feelings of heat.(1)

– UVA rays penetrate deeper into the dermis, damaging the structure of the skin, making it thinner and more fragile to external aggressions(1,2).

– Finally, infrared rays create a sensation of intense heat, exacerbating rosacea.(3)

Therefore, it is important to avoid the sun on the face to minimise rosacea flare-ups.
